Social media management pricing calculator

This calculator builds a monthly price from your numbers: your hourly rate, the hours one client takes a month and how many clients you have. It ships with no preset rates and no market averages, so all the numbers on the page are ones you entered.

Client price = (hours x rate) + pass-through, then x (1 + margin/100)
Monthly total = price per client x client count
Effective hourly = monthly total / total hours

No default rates and no market averages, so all the numbers on the page are ones you entered. An empty client count stays empty.

  4. 4

Read the price per client, the monthly total and your effective hourly rate.

FAQ

How much should I charge for social media management?
The calculator doesn't suggest a rate. We haven't found a named, dated study of social media management prices to cite, so it prices from your own rate and hours.
How do I work out hours per client?
Track a month of work for one client by task, then use those hours. Update them as the work changes.
Should I charge per network?
You can. Add the hours each network takes to the client's monthly hours, and the price follows.
What does effective hourly rate mean?
Your monthly total divided by the hours you entered. It shows what you bill per hour, including pass-through costs and margin.
