Usage and media limits

Check Billing for current usage and account capacity. Owner-level monthly allowances are shared across the workspaces that person owns.

Accounts and agent calls

LimitFreePaid
Account capacity2 publishable connected accountsPurchased total account count, including the two free accounts
Agent tool calls each month5001,000 per account of purchased capacity
MCP request rate60 requests per minute per workspace60 requests per minute per workspace

Each MCP tool call counts toward the monthly allowance. Monthly usage resets on the first of the month in UTC. Buying a yearly subscription does not make these annual allowances.

Reduce unnecessary polling and reuse results where appropriate. If the server rate-limits a request, wait before retrying. For publishing or scheduling requests with uncertain results, check existing posts before sending the action again.

X posting

RuleAllowance
Free monthly credits10
Paid monthly credits50 for each of the first 10 connected X accounts, 20 for each after
Plain post1 credit
Post containing a link13 credits
Each X account, rolling hour10 posts
Each X account, rolling day25 posts

X sets its own API rates and can change them at any time, so UniPost may change these allowances and limits from one month to the next, as described in the Terms. This page always shows the current numbers.

Credits reset on the first of the month in UTC. A link post needs more credits than the entire free monthly allowance. Use get_x_allowance before preparing X posts to check the available credits and per-account limits.

Posting limits are enforced when a post publishes. A scheduled post can fail later if the available allowance has been used by other posts.

Agent scheduling

InputLimit
Destinations1–10 distinct account IDs from the authorized workspace
Text1–3,000 characters; a destination platform may allow less
Scheduled timeTimezone-aware ISO 8601, now or later, within one year
Media linksUp to 10 public HTTPS URLs

schedule_post always creates pending approval. Dashboard scheduling instead requires a time at least 15 minutes ahead; use Post now there for immediate publishing.

Agent media

UniPost downloads media from the links supplied to schedule_post.

MediaSupported typesMaximum file size
ImageJPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP8 MB
VideoMP4, MOV, WebM1 GB

The link must be publicly downloadable over HTTPS and return a supported media content type. Local files, authenticated links, and private network URLs cannot be used this way.

Destination rules also apply:

  • Facebook Pages accept text, images, or one video; do not mix a video with images in one post.
  • LinkedIn profiles accept text, up to 9 images, or one video; do not mix a video with images.
  • X accepts text, up to 4 images, or one video; do not mix a video with images.

When posting to several accounts, use media every selected platform accepts. A smaller platform limit can still apply even when the file fits UniPost's general limit. The dashboard upload flow has its own platform-specific restrictions shown in the composer.

Platforms and analytics

LinkedIn profiles, X, and TikTok are available (the user picks privacy from TikTok's allowed options at the approval link; TikTok may keep the post private until UniPost's app review is done). Facebook Pages and YouTube are in beta: Facebook Pages open to everyone once Meta approves UniPost, and YouTube uploads are private until Google's review passes. Instagram is coming soon; LinkedIn company Pages are coming soon.

LinkedIn profiles and X do not currently report post analytics to UniPost. Available metrics refresh every few hours for about a month after publication. See analytics.
